Our Airbnb small house is located on a high hill overlooking a long pine valley. When we arrived we got the fire going in the tall iron stove and things were toasty.
In the morning the sun finally came out and we had lunch on the deck of a tiny building next to the house. Lovely.
Here is the view from the deck.
Norwegian bread us the best. Here is ham and cheese with beet mayo. Norwegian love their mayo. It comes in many flavors, like relish.
Then we headed into the town of Geilo, surrounded by ski hills, to shop. Nice bottle of wine for dinner. Plus a few fun beers.
We then walked around the Geilo fijord in the sunshine.
Did I mention we had a washing machine? Yay. We came home to find washed clothes almost dry from the fire.
