Thursday May 16th we met our new car. We were picked up at 7:40am. By a Volvo limo and whisked out to the Visitor's Center at the massive Volvo plant. We were the second to arrive but within 15 minutes we had gone over the paperwork and introduced to our car. Very beautifully handled. We drove out to visit the Volvo museum a couple miles away and then returned to the delivery center for a delicious lunch of smoked salmon and then a factory tour of an hour. Saw two other Canadian couples, one from Toronto and one from London. Then it was off for our lovely 2 hour drive up here to near Oslo! We were greeted at the Norwegian border by a guard saying "So you bought a new car!!". A day for the ages."
