Back to Gothenburg

Bright sunshine today and open windows to clean and then Munroe drove all over before finding the recycling station.  We were first I line for the ferry so we could spend time outside watching the boats.

At the Volvo Visitor's Center where we bid a temporary farewell to the car... with a tear in our eyes.

Then took a cab to the Clarion Post Hotel downtown.

We were early checking in so we parked our bags and headed out to walk in the gardens and take a canal boat tour.

The stunning Opera House that looks like a ship
One of our better selfies. LOL.

At  the historic train station beside the hotel we found a book for Munroe (Nordic noir detective of course) and a few of Deb's favorite Swedish chocolate and coconut balls.

Thanks to Volvo we received a room on the top floor with a view of the canal and gardens.  We stepped out to  a dinnert of moules et frites at John Scott's Brewery and watched the world go by. A great end to the day.
